Fungus is a major issue for the plant during periods of rain, sometimes causing the death of the plant in poorly draining sites. Blue daze is fast growing however, and can be quickly replaced. Do not crowd blue daze with other plants, as poor air circulation can also contribute to fungal problems. Where not hardy, blue daze may overwinter indoors to prevent lethal frost damage. |
