The Basics
Firebush Firefly is a more compact cultivar. Its leaves and flowers are half the size of the full-sized variety. Firefly's flowers are tubular and show for most of the year. The flowers are followed by black berries and its foliage morphs from green to bronze in fall. Firefly is best used as an accent or specimen and it even attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. This plant grows to be 3-6 feet tall and wide. The Needs Amount of Sunlight: Full Sun / Partial Shade Amount of Water: Water Regularly Soil Conditions: Well drained Cold Hardiness Zone: 9-11 The Care Firefly performs best with more sun, however, its foliage is more attractive when it is grown in the shade.
