Uniquely favored to other Gardenias, this dwarf evergreen groundcover has a horizontal branching habit. Its fragrant, creamy white flowers bloom in late spring through summer. The dark-green groundcover spreads 3-6 feet(1-2 feet tall). Ideally used as a container plant, mass planting, groundcover, and border plant. The Needs Amount of Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade Amount of Water: Water regularly; more frequent watering in extreme heat; Moderately drought tolerant Soil Conditions: Prefers moist, well-drained soil Cold Hardiness Zone: 7-11 The Care This evergreen perennial needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. The first year of growth requires watering weekly. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly.
