This perennial evergreen grass is dense with dark green stemless foliage. During summer experience spikes of tiny, stunning lilac flowers. Its clumping growth habit reaches 12-15 inches tall (12-15 inches wide). This ornamental grass is widely used in rock gardens, seashore plantings, borders and small-scale ground cover.
